What are the new rates for DWP payments?
Higher payments will be in place from 2022 to 2023 in order to help households across the UK contend with the increasing cost of living.
While the inflated rates take effect from today, it’s worth noting that benefit payments are paid up to four weeks in arrears – so the increase may not be seen immediately.
The new weekly rates for DWP payments are as follows:
Personal Independence Payments (PIP)
- Standard Daily Living Component: £61.85 (from £60.00)
- Enhanced Daily Living Component: £92.40 (from £89.60)
- Standard Mobility Component: £24.45 (from £23.70)
- Enhanced Mobility Component: £64.50 (from £62.55)
