Jake Paul claims Conor McGregor is on a ‘downward spiral’, promises to knock out UFC star in first round and makes another proposals to Dana White

Jake Paul wants to fight Conor McGregor in the MMA and promised to knock him out in the first round.

The YouTuber turned professional boxer has once again called out ‘Notorious’ and is more determined than ever to go toe-to-toe with him.

The Irishman has been out of action since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier last July, but he stepped up his training last month with the view to a return to UFC this summer.

For someone who has aims of becoming world champion, should Paul get McGregor to agree to a fight in his competition, and beat him, it would be a major scalp.

And speaking to TMZ, the 5-0 boxer is feeling extremely confident about his chances, claiming the Irishman isn’t the same fighter.

“Conor is on a downhill spiral,” he said. 

“His limbs are all broken. So, stand-up game, I’m coming out and knocking him out, first round.”

Paul’s reasons to fight McGregor not only come down to victory, but to persuade UFC president, Dana White, to increase the revenue to fighters.

“If I win, then Dana has to increase the minimum of fighter pay,” Jake said. “If I lose, then they can take all of the money and whatever and so be it.”

“But, I know I can beat Conor.”

It also isn’t the first time Paul has made comments about McGregor, having insisted in the past that he can overcome him.

When reporters asked Paul, 25, his thoughts on McGregor’s new plan, The Problem Child responded: “I don’t give a s*** about Conor.

“I just want to fight him and smack him in the head – in that sense I hope that he can win some fights so that we can actually fight.

“But the guy is a grown-ass man, he needs to figure out his life; it seems to be falling apart from what I can tell.

“Obviously, everything’s through a lens, we don’t know what he’s going through actually.”
