Professional wrestling may well be scripted, but there are some things that nobody can account for.
Chief among those things is soiling yourself in front of thousands and thousands of fans!
During a rare Q&A with Brock Lesnar in 2019, Rod Pederson said: “Lesnar told the amusing/disgusting story of how, one night during a show in South Africa, The Big Show had food poisoning.
“Lesnar slammed him to the canvas and his opponent exploded with diarrhoea all over him!”
Paul Wight – formerly known as The Big Show in WWE – signed for AEW last year and corroborated the story during a podcast interview with Renee Pacquette.
Back in 2002, Lesnar entered WWE and he was jettisoned to the top of the card.
By the end of his rookie year, Lesnar had won the King of the Ring, the world title, the Royal Rumble and main evented WrestleMania.
Around six months in at Survivor Series, Paul Heyman would turn his back on Lesnar and align with The Big Show, giving Lesnar his first loss in WWE and dropping the title in the process.
For the next few months the pair would work together on all live event loops and during one of those, Wight says a combination of some bad food and Lesnar’s F5 finisher caused him to go number two in front of thousands of screaming fans.
“I hit that mat, [Brock] goes “Did you s**t?” I said, “Yeah,” he goes, “Hahaha, you s**t.” Then while I’m laying in the ring after the F-5, he keeps stepping on my stomach like he’s trying to get more to come out.
“He had dumped Paul Heyman in the ring too. That was the finish and then I would usually get up, pull Paul up, throw Paul over my shoulder, and carry Paul out.
“That was the end of the night for the heels. We were totally humiliated. This night, I was humiliated. So, Pauly is lying there he goes ‘You gonna carry me to the back’ I’m like, ‘No!’
‘What do you mean, you’re not gonna carry me to the back?’ ‘I s**t myself.’ ‘What?’ ‘I s**t my pants.’ ‘I can’t hear you. What?’ ‘I s**t myself!’ ‘Oh, OK. Are you alright?’”
He added: “I’m the guy out the back of the arena with a hose, hosing off my pants.”
Nobody could tell, luckily.
